Simple and straight forward - a joy to use - love the 3D feature

This app has too many pins to be able to see any detail of the area you are looking at. You also cant search for a location. Too bad as the map has lots of details.

We used this app over the weekend and found it to be very helpful, especially in negotiating our way up to Central Park and then across town to Citi Field for the Mets game. My partner knows NYC pretty well, and even she found the app to be useful for coordinating our plans and meeting with friends and not getting too bogged down or led astray. Seems like it would be really helpful for finding out of the way and interesting things to do in Manhattan or Brooklyn as well. Was very happy to have this.

Im planning a trip to visit my brother in NYC next month and I wanted to be prepared with someone for the trip. I was suggested this app to use for navigating around the city. At first I felt a little unsure because Im not used to this type of close mapping and cities but the app does a great job for navigating and telling you how to get to your destination. I would recommend this for anyone feeling nervous about traveling to the city because this app made me feel more confident.

This is a fantastic app. I luckily found it via a survey. I love that it shows points of interest in the city. There are many times where I’m not sure where else to go and I would have to search up things to do on google. This makes it easier. I will be sure to use this next time I am in Manhattan, which actually might be sooner rather than later.

Quite a handy NYC map for locals and travelers alike. It displays the map full screen unlike others. It covers neighborhoods and areas from all 5 boroughs, adjusting itself to display popular spots as you zoom in. Tapping on their name labels brings up comprehensive information on that particular location covering its history, geography, culture and a few other insights. This is more info than I thought I wanted! Whenever I get a moment of downtime, I can read up on where I am currently, or where Im headed next. Will come in handy next time Im in New York.

The app is pretty much straightforward and simple! I love that you can click on a location which allows you to get more information on it so you can see whether its something you would be interesting in visiting. It also helps that you can actually zoom in and see 3D renderings of buildings to show you whats around which also helps you find your way around. You can even see all the street names and locations. This is definitely one app you need to get it if you want to see all that NYC has to offer! The price aint so bad either.

This is exactly what you’d want out of lightweight travel companion map application. No needless menus or setup requirements to get this going. You launch the app and you’re set. Zooming in will get you points of interests to check out, so you’ll have plenty of options to choose from. Tapping on the names of the points will get you some detailed information about it too! Wow! Lightweight, fast, and simple, this is everything you could ask for out of a tourist map app.

Love this idea. Love how all the different districts and neighborhoods are clearly labeled and super easy to read, decipher, and navigate. That right there is enough for me to keep this app. And I dont have to do a bunch of resizing the screen to see everything. Brilliant! Can you make one of these for San Francisco?

This app is pretty much everything that Google Maps lacks. I really like being able to see in detail what buildings and attractions are where. The app also shows details about every location which is helpful for finding places to go. Definitely one of the best apps for tourism. I hope to see this app expand to more than New York City!

I used to live near NYC, and would go to visit every once and a while. I didnt go enough to be familiar with the territory, and still wanted to see the main tourist attractions. The first time I went, I didnt know where I was going or what to do. The second time, I had a friend who lived in the area show me around. It was such a great experience! Having something or someone to show you around makes the difference between a good vacation and an amazing vacation. This app does just that! Im definitely going to use it the next time I venture into the city. It has all the main attractions, summarizes the history behind them, and provides you with an organized map of where each one is. This kind of information is invaluable when you are in a huge, intimidating city like New York! I would definitely recommend this app to anyone who is going to visit!!

If your wondering whats out there in the NYC area go to this app it will not let you down. This app made it so much easier to plan our trip and find our way around. This app is a great planning tool and I love the HD interface. I was surprised by the variety of UPDATED nyc info... this app is definitely worth it if youre a nyc tourist or resident. Has practically every info u need to have and very quick and to the point. This app helps me to organize my time better and to plan ahead!! 5 stars!!

This NYC Tourist app includes an amazing map that is so easy to use! You get the usual tourist hotspots, but zoom in and find quaint cafes, restaurants, and stores to visit. If you want to avoid the normal tourist attractions and really explore the city, this app helps you find little known gems all over! I had no idea there were so many parks in the city!? The map clearly designates highways and airports, making it very easy to navigate around NYC from certain vantage points. What really made this app special for me is that you can zoom in, tap the name of a museum, garden, theater, etc and theres an information button that comes up to give the user all sorts of facts about that location! Now you dont have to change screens and Google something, then come back to a map, its all included in this neat app!

This app highlights the tourist destinations in a simple manner. There was no learnign curve. I knew how to use the app right away. It is quick too. It doesnt get bogged down with unnecessary information. Overall, it is a solid app that does what it sets out to do.

Even though this is basically just Google Maps, this app is cool. It is very responsive, and the more you zoom in, the more you see. I’m also a big fan of the fact that there aren’t gaps in the map coordinates. If you are visiting New York for the first time, this app is essential for one to get, and I highly recommend it!

A good and detailed map of New York filled full of information. I like how fast it loads and how easy it is to navigate the different boroughs. I hope this developer adds more cities from around the world!

I recently just traveled to NYC for the first time and this app saved my life. The map was so incredibly helpful in helping us find everything we needed as well as discover some great places. We really got to explore NYC to the fullest thanks to this app and we will use it again when we return next year.

This app is a great companion for someone new to New York City. It is pretty straight forward with easy to use functions like its zoom in feature that everyone is familiar using other apps like maps. It gives info from Wikipedia on key locations and displays key attractions like cafes, restaurants, museums, and key landmarks. Its worth your time to at least give it a shot if you plan on visiting New York City in the near future.

Map apps typically are very overwhelming to me, mostly because the creator tried to cram too much in. This app is very simple and easy to use. I especially like that you can zoom in to smaller streets and view cute little icons. They help in understanding what it is Im looking at. Id like there to an option to put in my desired location and then the app gives am the best route to take but not totally necessary.

This App is very informative in telling you about places in New York City. Upon opening youre greeted with hundreds of different places you can go with information about each place. The only thinks that bothered me was that it was a little laggy (iPhone 6) and that the information pages were just plain black and white. But those are just minor details and dont subtract a ton from the quality of this app.
